Overall, we are happy with how well the plants have held up.Mostly sunny days with fluctuating and extremely hot temperatures. Daily temperatures ranged between 24°C – 42°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 12°C - 22°C.
Harvest volumes are reasonable.
Fruit quality is good. Fruit size is medium. Ripeness is 3⁄4 colour.
As mentioned last week, the fluctuating and extremely warm temperatures have kept us very busy as we try to manage plant and fruit health. Overall, we are happy with how well the plants have held up as we anticipate only a small lull in productivity and in turn harvest volumes. Much of our humidity management and moisture intake of the plants has helped combat the dry conditions that the heat has brought on.
