We will resume harvesting again on Friday.Windy and slightly cooler days with some rain later in the week. Daily temperatures ranged between 24°C – 26°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 9°C - 18°C.
Small volumes harvested.
Quality is challenged. Fruit size is mainly medium – large. Ripeness is half colour to three quarter colour.
Last week’s weather event has proven to be more detrimental to the crops than we had hoped. We will resume harvesting again on Friday, but anticipate to see quite a considerable degree of cracking and black spot on the fruit. Quality will gradually improve over the course of the next 2 weeks with each picking cycle.
