Maintaining quality is challenging due to weather.Sunny & warm days with showers forecast over the weekend. Overnight temperatures ranged between 16 to 22 degrees. Daily temperatures ranged between 25 to 32 degrees.
Lower volumes harvested this week.
Maintaining quality is very hard considering the challenges the weather has presented.
The early mornings are high with humidity, causing heavy amounts dew. This has affected some of the crops with powdery mildew, which is impacting the plants’ production. Luckily we have had some dry and windy days to keep this issue in check.
