The cold nights we are experiencing have shocked the plants.Mostly sunny conditions. Daily temperatures ranged between 16°C - 28°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 7°C - 12°C.
Numbers harvested this week were similar to last week.
Quality is looking good.
The cold nights we are experiencing have shocked the plants. The change from very hot to cold conditions have taken their toll. Fortunately, this is a dry cold, where plant and fruit quality are not compromised. What this current weather is affecting however, is the pack out volumes, which are very low.
