The cold nights have provided challenges to the crop.Very cold nights with warm days. Daily temperatures ranged between 5°C - 23°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 2°C – 9°C.
Reasonable volumes harvested.
Quality is good holding up well, considering the weather conditions.
The cold nights have provided challenges to the crop. We have however, managed to help the plants adjust to the current weather. The warm days have also helped, which has kept us on a steady harvesting schedule. We have also assessed our trial varieties and the results are quiet good. Plants are looking strong and vigorous and this trial will carry on for next season on a larger scale.
