Thankfully, all our patches have been picked.Sunny days with cold nights. Daily temperatures ranged between 12°C - 18°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 3°C - 7°C.
Small volumes harvested.
Good quality fruit.
We have now finished with the harvest. Thankfully, all our patches have been picked. As mentioned last week, it is not good for fruit to be on the plant for too long with the current weather conditions. Better off to be harvested, packed and placed into the cool rooms to naturally ripen with favourable temperatures. The crop clean up has now started along with preparing ground for the coming season.
