The crops are looking excellent.Mostly sunny days with slightly cooler overnight temperatures this week. Daily temperatures ranged between 26°C – 28°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 14°C - 20°C.
The warmer weather has brought on the early crops and we are now picking on a 3 day cycle.
Quality has improved immensely. Our 2nd and 3rd picks have produced a high percentage of premium fruit
Our quantities are steadily increasing and quality is improving with every pick. The mild weather being forecast will help plant growth and close the gaps which formed in the past 2 – 3 weeks. Due to the cold weather we experienced at this stage, the crops are looking excellent.
