Leading to larger volumes of good quality fruit into the future.Warm days with cooler nights this week. Daily temperatures ranged between 14°C – 28°C. Overnight temperatures ranged between 12°C - 14°C.
Smaller volumes harvested.
Quality is very good.
The cooler overnight conditions has slowed down the pace at which the tomatoes are maturing. This slower plant productivity however, will help in achieving a better flower and fruit set, leading to larger volumes of good quality fruit into the future.
